FOR THE SAFETY OF ALL CHILDREN!!

Some parents have recently approached me with concerns about safety in the parking lot. In order to keep all children safe, Kids’ Campus respectfully requests the following:

1. Please hold your child’s hand or keep them close to you during drop‑off and pick‑up.

   Allowing children to run ahead increases the risk of them not being seen by other drivers.

2. Please ensure the playground gate is fully latched each time you enter or exit.

   A securely latched gate allows staff to supervise children without unnecessary distractions.

3. Please make sure your child is properly buckled in an appropriate car seat or booster seat before leaving the parking lot.

   As mandated reporters, my staff and I are required to report any safety concerns we observe.

4. It is important that you, the parent, check your child(ren) in and out every day.

   The tablet is available on the entrance table, and using the code provided to you on Brightwheel is the easiest and quickest way to complete this process.

   a. Maintaining accurate daily check‑in and check‑out records is required and helps ensure the safety and accountability of all children in our care.

IMPORTANT!  REGISTRATION!!

Please begin thinking about your childcare needs for this summer and fall, as registration is fast approaching and will begin Monday, March 2nd. Registration forms will be sent via email, hard copy, and/or Brightwheel.

What to do: Please fill out your registration form and return it to the pink basket in either building as soon as possible.• We fill classes on a first received / first served basis, and all forms are dated as they come in.• Registration forms are due Friday, March 13th.• After that date, we will begin contacting families on our waiting list to fill any remaining vacancies.

Important:If we have not received your registration form and registration fee by March 13th, your child’s spot for summer and fall will be considered vacant and may be filled.

Registration Fee & Payment Details:

• There is a $55 non‑refundable registration fee due at the time of registration.

• We will verify your payment through Brightwheel unless you choose to pay by check or cash.

• If your child registered new at Kids’ Campus on or after January 1, 2026, this fee will be waived.

• Your child is not considered registered until the registration fee is received.

If you plan to remove your child for the summer session but return in the fall:

• You will need to pay one week’s tuition to hold your spot for the fall.

• This payment is non‑refundable and in addition to the annual registration fee.

Please remember:Your account must be paid in full to register your child for the next session.

MARK THE DATE

Kids’ Campus will have our 3^rd annual spring staff enrichment/in-service day on Friday, March 27, 2025.  The center will be closed.  I have hired Ashley Brooks with Play to Learn Pre-K to provide us with training for the day.  Check her out at www.playtolearnprek.com.  I attended a session of hers at the Texas Rising Star Conference in January and I think she will be a phenomenal motivator and speaker.  Thank you in advance for your understanding and support.

VALENTINE PARTIES!

We will have Valentine parties for the toddler & preschool classes on Friday, February 13^th at 2:30.  Each child will receive a class list and will need to bring a valentine for each child in their class.  They can be homemade or purchased.  There will be a sign-up sheet to volunteer to provide treats for the party.  As always, Tuesday/Thursday children are welcome to attend the party with an adult.

SCHOOL HOLIDAY

Sweeny ISD will have a school holiday Monday, February 16^th.  KCCC will be open and provide all day care for your schooler.  Please remember to bring lunch for your child.  IF your child attends all day, Ms. Rosy will add that charge to your brightwheel account, and you will be invoiced the following week.  If your child does not attend, your normal tuition will be owed.
