IMPORTANT DATES

August 11, 2025 – First day of attendance for existing and new families.

August 12, 2025 – Last day of attendance for those signed up for summer ONLY session.

Once again, we had to reschedule our staff development day to August 20, 2025.  Kids’ Campus will be closed that Wednesday for training and team building.  Thank you for your support and understanding as we work to better serve our Kids’ Campus families.

Looking ahead, Kids’ Campus will be closed Monday, September 1^st for Labor Day. 

KIDS’ CAMPUS NEWS

On July 26^th, Ms. Rosy and Ms. Shawn attended the Centers of Excellence celebration.  Kids’ Campus was awarded the a TIER 4 rating within the Collaborative for Children program.  This tier represents the highest level of achievement, demonstrating that KCCC has built strong, stable systems and is positioned for long-term sustainability and success.  This tiering was rated on business development and instructional teachings.  Your children’s teachers are committed to best outcomes and are a huge part of this Teir 4 rating!!  Again, they are all-stars!!!!

On Wednesday, August 6^th, Kids’ Campus was assessed for the Texas Rising Star program.  Texas Rising Star early learning programs are committed to providing high-quality child care that exceeds the state’s minimum standards.  Ratings are entrance level, 2 star, 3 star, and 4 star and we should be getting the results of our assessment by the end of the month!!!

SCHOOL SUPPLIES

School supply lists are available at www.mykidscampus.com and on the table in the entry of both buildings.  If your child is attending for the school year, their supplies should be provided for them the first day.  They will begin using them immediately, and it is especially important to your child to have his/her own things.  School age children have a short list to replenish consumable supplies used in their classroom and should also provide those as soon as possible. 

REMINDERS

Remember that all tuition must be paid in full by the end of the summer session, August 9^th.  Tuition must be up to date to begin the fall session on August 11^th.  If your child will not attend after school starts, please drop a note in the pink basket notifying us when their last day will be, and we will credit your account accordingly.

SCHOOL-AGE CLASS

There will be 2 bus runs in the morning, if needed.  It is important to have your child at KCCC and checked in NO LATER THAN 7:20 so we know to have an extra staff member to cover those who stay for the second run!  The first bus will leave about 7:30 and the second (if needed) will be about 7:40 and can be “tweaked” once we know how the drop off will go.  YOU MUST BE REGISTERED FOR BEFORE-SCHOOL CARE FOR YOUR CHILD TO ATTEND IN THE MORNING, AND BE TRANSPORTED TO SCHOOL.  If, at any time during the year, you need to change the status of your child, and we have availability, please let the office know so your tuition can be changed accordingly.

EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH

Employee of the Month of June was Ms. Margarita!!!  She works hard with these kids and runs circles around the rest of us!!
