THANK YOU |
The KCCC staff would like to send out a HUGE thank you to our parents, grandparents, aunts, and uncles!
Our Enrichment Day was filled with team building, fun, learning, and plenty of laughs. We were truly blessed to have Ashley Brooks as our guest speaker. She was eloquent, passionate, and inspiring, reminding us to reflect on two important questions:
1. What are we doing?
2. Who is it for?
Her message resonated deeply and encouraged us all to refocus on our purpose and the families we serve.
So once again—parents, grandparents, aunts, and uncles—from the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU for your continued support and partnership!
HOLIDAY |
Kids’ Campus will be closed April 3, 2026 in observance of Good Friday and Easter.
EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH |
March Employee of the Month – ALL KCCC STAFF!!
As you all know, I have an amazing team—one that pulls together, covers positions, and cares for children with hearts of GOLD.
With Ms. G out on medical leave, the resignation of two staff members, and the unexpected departure of another, this team has truly stepped in and stepped up in a BIG way. Their dedication, flexibility, and unwavering commitment to our children and families does not go unnoticed.
I appreciate all that they do—every single day!
EASTER EGG HUNTS
All children in the main building will have an Easter Egg Hunt on Thursday, April 2, 2026. Each child will need to bring one dozen plastic eggs filled with wrapped candy OR small trinkets. Parents, please tape the eggs closed, as some eggs tend to “pop” open while we are hiding them.
You may send your child with a basket WITH HIS/HER NAME CLEARLY VISIBLE (please, no “grass” or filler in the basket). If you do not have a basket, KCCC has some to share.
Please have all eggs turned in no later than Wednesday, April 2nd.
Parents are welcome to join us! We ask that you arrive on time, as these egg hunts move quickly and are often over before you know it.
Hunt Times:
SugarBabies through Sour Patch Kids will begin at 9:30 a.m. (starting with our youngest friends)
Gummy Bears, MilkyWays, and Snickers will begin at 2:30 p.m.
Hint, hint… we can always use a little help hiding eggs 😉 … just sayin’!
NEW STAFF
I would like to welcome Ms. Emily Rebector to the KCCC team. She was employed here many years ago and when she decided to come back to work, I snatched her up! She is a soft spoken wife, mother, and grandmother. She has completed orientation, pre-service training, and CPR/1st Aide.
I would also like to welcome Ms. Bridget Stidham. We are currently waiting on background checks and once that was been completed, Ms. Bridget will come in for orientation and training.
I do not as of yet have a permanent replacement for the Gummy Bear class. Please continue to be patient and understanding as we restructure, hire and train new team members.
HEARING & VISION |
It is a state requirement that Kids’ Campus have hearing and vision screening results on file for all 4‑year‑olds.
I will be reaching out to Ms. Caprice Dodds to set up a time for her to visit and perform the testing here at KCCC. Please stay tuned for date and a permission slip for those who need to be screened.
Please sign and return the permission slip along with any money owed. This fee will cover both screenings for your child. Families will receive a copy of the results, and if any further testing is recommended, you may follow up with your child’s physician or pediatrician.
For Kids’ Campus to remain in compliance, we will need documentation of any follow‑up testing if required.
If your child is four years old and has already completed hearing and vision screenings during a well‑check appointment, please provide a copy of those results at your earliest convenience.
REMINDERS
PLEASE remember to sign your child in and out on the tablet located in the front hall. If you are unable to complete check‑in or check‑out, please notify a teacher so we can ensure your child is properly signed out.
PLEASE do not allow children to climb on or unlock the gate. For safety reasons, children are taught to wait at the yellow line and that only an adult may open the gate. Allowing children to open it makes it more difficult for us to keep everyone safe. Thank you for helping us enforce this important rule.
Whether you are bringing additional children with you or picking up one child before moving to another classroom, we respectfully ask that you keep all children with you at all times. Children—enrolled or not—may not be unattended on the playground or in hallways.
As the weather warms up, classes will spend more time outdoors and may participate in activities such as water play or outdoor painting. You may notice dirtier faces or damp clothing; however, teachers will do their best to have children “presentable” for pick‑up.
Please take a moment to check your child’s extra clothes to ensure they still fit and are appropriate for the current weather.
If your child has worn home Kids’ Campus clothing, please return those items. We have an adequate supply of shirts and pants, but underwear and shorts are in short supply.
